Why do I need to get all of my electrical appliances tested?
Entrusting Herts PAT Testing with your electrical safety needs also protects you from unwanted issues with insurance companies. If an accident happens in your workplace or property, and your electrics haven’t been PAT Tested, insurers could reject your claim outright. Everyone within the business responsible for the safe use of electrical equipment (e.g. contractors, managers of electrical/electronic laboratories, office managers, maintenance supervisors), are each regarded by the EAWR as duty holders. This means that they should operate a routine safety testing programme for all equipment within their control and at a time based on the principles of risk assessment.
How will I receive my results?
A PAT Test Certificate will be issued in a PDF Format to your Email address.
This can then be forwarded on to the Insurance/ Relevant Parties.
After Settlement of Invoice has been received, the following will be sent:
Our engineer will make them self known to the person responsible for Health & Safety at the testing premises. The engineer will liaise with this person with regard to the schedule of testing on the premises. We will always ask when it is appropriate for shutdown of equipment. Any appliances that fail the PAT test will be made known. We believe that we can offer you an unrivalled service, in quality and ability that will minimise disruption to your day to day operations whilst ensuring that you, and your staff, are working in the safest environment possible.
