WHAT IS PAT TESTING?

Electricity at Work Regulations imply that is the responsibility of businesses and employers to ensure the equipment is Safe to use. You are expected to keep a regular log of maintenance that includes inspection and testing of all electrical appliances along with a schedule of Results, hence "In-Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment" (PAT Testing) was born- a universal industry standard method and practice designed to ensure you are complying with the Law. WHY DO I NEED PAT TESTING?
Trusting PAT Testing Hertfordshire with your electrical safety needs also protects you against accidents that may unfortunately occur in your workplace or property, and if your electrics and appliances haven’t been PAT Tested, insurers could reject your claim outright and you could be found legally liable or even found criminally negligent. Health and Safety in the workplace is everybody's responsibility including the safe use of electrical equipment- (eg.
